EDUCATION NEWS

  • Ohio University’s ASL Club, led by president Madi Klink, teaches beginners to sign through fingerspelling and basic greetings to build community connections (meetings occur bi-weekly on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. in Morton Hall room 201).  Ohio University
  • Ohio University Eastern will host Compassion in Action: A Social Work Event on Thursday, Mar. 5 at its campus. The free event offers a continuing education presentation at 11 a.m., followed by an agency fair and a panel discussion for social work professionals.  Ohio University
  • Russ College of Engineering and Technology hosts National Engineers Week events Feb. 22-28 at campus venues, including networking on Feb. 23, a workshop on Feb. 24, an alumni panel on Feb. 25, and a career fair on Feb. 26. SPORTS NEWS

  • Ohio Bobcats defeated Ball State 69-57 Tuesday night at home, riding a 13-0 run that snapped consecutive road losses and boosted momentum heading into the final stretch of their season.  The Post
  • The Ohio Bobcats will wrestle the Buffalo Bulls at The Convo on Saturday evening in their final dual meet of the season that celebrates Senior Night, with undefeated wrestler Zayne Lehman in the spotlight. The team looks to break a long losing streak against Buffalo.  The Post
