EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Ohio University Turning Point chapter held its first off-campus meeting on Feb. 11 after social media threats on YikYak and discussed its conservative values and push for campus recognition (the group is not yet officially recognized by the university). The Post
- ➤ Ohio University’s School of International Studies and Languages launches the Global Readiness Badge, a microcredential that highlights global competence for students across majors. Students earn the badge by completing academic, experiential, and professional activities, linking international learning to career readiness (details provided by the Office of Career Services). - ➤ Ohio University is shifting to a one logo system this summer & plans to introduce a trademarked OU mark later this spring. Departments have three years to update designs as the change boosts brand recognition while retaining familiar elements. The Post
