- ➤ A new trailhead for the Baileys Trail System is under construction in Buchtel and will open this summer at the intersection of SR 685 and SR 78—featuring a restroom, shelter, and parking. A connector trail awaiting a bridge will link the site to advanced trails. Athens County Independent

- ➤ Athena Cinema will host a Science on Screen event on Tuesday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m. featuring a screening of 'Project Hail Mary' and a talk by plant molecular biologist Dr. Sarah Wyatt (a collaborator with NASA) to explain life beyond Earth; admission is free and sponsored by Arts for OHIO. - ➤ Nancy Sherman will speak at the CAPE Spring Lecture, Feed the Soul: Lessons from Aristotle on Living Well, on Wednesday, March 25 at 4 p.m. at Clippinger Laboratories (Rm 194). Ohio University
- ➤ On Friday, April 10, the J. Warren McClure School of Emerging Communication Technologies will host a free 20th-anniversary open house for the GRID Lab from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Scripps Hall (all three floors), featuring student demonstrations in VR, game development, digital art and three new projects. - ➤ Ohio University will host an Education Career Fair in the Baker University Center Ballroom on Tuesday, Mar. 31, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., where students and alumni can network and interview with school districts (9:30–11 and 11:30–4).
