SPORTS NEWS

  • On Saturday, April 12th, the Toledo Rockets beat the Ohio Bobcats in a doubleheader by winning 8-5 plus 4-0, with the Rockets holding the Bobcats scoreless in game two. Ohio head coach Jenna Hall said her team went back to work after the loss.  WOUB Public Media
  • Ohio's softball team lost both games of its Saturday doubleheader against Toledo with final scores of 8-5 and 4-0. Coach Jenna Hall said the team's offense struggled and they will work on better preparing for future contests.  The Post
  • The Ohio softball team won its first game 3-2 Friday but lost both games of a doubleheader against Toledo with scores of 5-8 and 0-4—strong pitching by Anna Wise, Skipp Miller and Mikie Lieving could not overcome a weak offense. Coach Jenna Hall said the team will work together to improve in their next contest.  The Post
