- ➤ Students in Athens are urged to leave usable furniture, clothing and food at the curb during move-out instead of placing them with the trash, as nightly collection will take unwanted items away; this method helps ensure that worthy items reach community members in need. - ➤ Three current Scripps College students in Athens received scholarships from alumni who once worked at WOUB — Will Miller and Kaylee Mackey got the Larry and JoAnn Katz Family Scholarship and Cali Christian got the Leonard E. - ➤ The Bulletin Board provides a schedule of public meetings from April 28 to May 5 — including sessions for Athens City Council committees, the County Board of Commissioners, and other local boards — which will be held in-person unless noted for livestream or Zoom.
