EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Ohio University’s College of Business started the Leadership Launchpad program to help first- and second-year students learn leadership skills and earn a digital LinkedIn credential and challenge coin. More than 90 students joined in its first semester and 40 finished in spring while plans to launch the Leadership Accelerator for upperclassmen in Fall 2025 promise more training—preparing students for future work. - ➤ Larry Katz, a 1977 radio and television major who worked at WOUB and later built his career while supporting student media, was inducted into the Ohio Communication Hall of Fame on April 24 at the Schoonover Center Lobby — his recognition honors a lifetime of contributions including founding a family scholarship and supporting hands-on learning opportunities.
