- ➤ Before giving his commencement speech, Ohio University alum John Gainor and his wife Nancy met with students at Scripps College of Communication and visited the Basic Needs program at Baker University Center—Gainor, who retired as CEO of Dairy Queen—said his time as a communications major helped him succeed in many fields. - ➤ A longstanding collaboration between the College of Fine Arts and the College of Engineering and Technology revived an old printing press when technician Joey Boyle quickly fabricated a needed part before spring break—ensuring art classes continue using the equipment.
