ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A gas release at the Austin Powder plant near Zaleski was stopped after an unknown contaminant entered a (5,000-gallon process tank) containing nitric acid early Wednesday, causing nitrogen oxide gas to be vented and an evacuation order that was lifted at 4:40 p.m. with no injuries reported as further groundwater testing is planned.
