  • Wren Denny, an Ohio University student, will be celebrated today at a ribbon-cutting ceremony as she unveils her new street mural 'The Migration' on East State Street—across from Village Bakery and Cafe at 270 East State Street. The mural was chosen by public vote and commissioned by the City of Athens as part of a project to improve public spaces and pedestrian safety.  Ohio University

  • Internationally known surgeon and inventor Dr. Frank Papay (an Ohio University alumnus and leader in healthcare innovation) will receive the Konneker Medal for Commercialization and Entrepreneurship on Oct. 23 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Dairy Barn Arts Center in Athens (the event is by invitation).  Ohio University
