Two university students in Athens County launched Athens College Prep to provide tailored college admissions consulting for underserved students—addressing a gap in local educational support.

OHIO University welcomed 4,865 students and 5,822 family members at orientation sessions from May to July and received positive feedback about the event.

The university will hold additional sessions this summer and expects to welcome over 5,000 more students by the end of August—reflecting new scheduling and partnership initiatives.
