- ➤ Star Chamber Arcade opened at 74 N. Court St on Oct.2 and held its ribbon-cutting on Oct.16—offering unlimited game play at an hourly rate along with a bar and ice cream. - ➤ Athens County recorded its driest August on record after receiving 44 inches of rain from January through July – far above the usual amount, which contributed to significant culvert road damage in July.
