- ➤ State lawmakers are reviewing Senate Bill 56 to regulate hemp products after Gov. DeWine banned intoxicating hemp on October 24—though a judge later blocked the ban, local business owners like Josh Crosier of Appalachian Girls and the co-owner of Silver Serpent in Athens said the new rules will force changes by limiting sales to adults and requiring licensed dispensaries.
