The Bobcat Build: Help us build a home with Habitat for Humanity

About this event

Join Ohio University and Habitat for Humanity Southeast Ohio on the job site to help build a home for a local family. This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside Habitat staff, volunteers, and members of the OHIO community as we turn the Bobcat Build from a campus-wide project into a home.

No construction experience is necessary! Habitat staff and experienced volunteers will provide guidance and instruction on the tasks for the day. Volunteers should be prepared to work outdoors, get their hands dirty, and contribute as part of a team.

What to expect:

• Hands-on construction and home-building tasks

• Guidance from Habitat staff and experienced volunteers

• Opportunities to learn new skills and meet fellow Bobcats

• The chance to make a tangible contribution to a local family and our community

Whether you have years of construction experience or have never picked up a hammer, there’s a place for you on the Bobcat Build!
