ART with ALIX: Nature Study: Drawing Animals from Photographs
Join us for a drawing class on Saturday Nov 14th from 2-4pm. Students of all ages and abilities welcomed to learn fundamentals of drawing. Supplies will be included.
Discover the fundamentals of drawing wildlife in this two-hour, step-by-step graphite drawing class! Using photographic references, students will learn how to observe and translate the natural world onto paper. We’ll explore basic drawing techniques, including breaking down complex animal forms into simple shapes, capturing proportions, developing details, and creating depth through shading.
Whether you're a beginner or looking to build on your existing drawing skills, this class offers a relaxed, hands-on introduction to drawing animals with graphite pencil. No prior drawing experience is necessary!
